Homebuyers beating mortgage deadline

March 30, 2011 - Updated: March 30, 2011

With the 18 March deadline fast approaching, experts' prediction of sharp rise of sales during the 1st quarter of 2011 is coming to fruition. What will happen once the deadline has come and gone? A 30-yr amortization will save a homeowner about $53,000 in interest payments over the life of the mortgage. Yet, first-time homebuyers or those with less down payment will certainly feel the pinch!

Clarence is the most dedicated realtor I have ever met. When he claims "I'm here to make a difference as well as a living," he means it. I have only good things to say about this gentleman and professional: he works hard for his clients and does so with the kind of integrity, thoroughness, good will and honest zeal that are rare in this day and age. His knowledge of the housing market and his financial expertise have been invaluable to me: only recently, he saved me from making a bad financial move and advised me of a plan offered by RBC that consolidates my debts and will allow me to pay down my mortgage in no time at all and at a favourable interest rate. When the time comes for me to sell my home in a couple of years, he will be my one and only choice as a realtor (and, believe me, as we all know, we certainly have our pick of realtors in the GTA, all knocking on our door for business!). Thank you, Clarence, for all you do for us.
